The British government announced a significant investment of £100 million (approximately $125 million) to propel the nation's leadership in artificial intelligence (AI).
This initiative focuses on two key areas: establishing nine new research hubs dedicated to exploring AI's potential across various sectors and equipping regulators with the knowledge and tools to navigate this rapidly evolving technology.

The £90 million allocated for research hubs will foster collaboration between industry, academia, and government.
